Kings of Leon drummer expecting baby

There's a little prince on the way for Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill, 33, who's expecting his first child with wife Jessie Baylin.

"Can confirm! (Followill and Baylin) are excited to announce that they are expecting their first child in December, 2012," the band's publicist Ken Weinstein e-mailed in a statement to USA TODAY. "They are two of the most excited people I know."

Followill also shared the big news on his Twitter account. "I can proudly announce that me & the lovely @JessieBaylin are expecting our first child. I'm beyond excited/anxious. Life is beautiful."

And, their baby bliss is just the latest bit of news in the Followill family.

Nathan's brother and bandmate, KOL lead singer Caleb Followill, just welcomed his first child, daughter Dixie Pearl with model wife Lily Aldridge on June 21.
