Call it a Broadway invasion of sorts.
A day after announcing that Tony-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth would be joining the cast, The Good Wife says that another Tony winner, Nathan Lane, will have a recurring role in Season 4.
In today's announcement, the show says that the actor will appear in the September premiere of the CBS drama series, starring Julianna Margulies as attorney Alicia Florrick whose cases and relationships with her children and estranged husband are the focus.
The release adds that "Lane will portray a bottom line-obsessed manager imposed on Lockhart & Gardner by the bank to cut costs and get the firm back to fiscal health. He finds himself at odds with Will, Diane and everyone else at the firm."
Show regulars Christine Baranski and Alan Cumming also are Tony winners.
