CNN's Don Lemon in Twitter war with 'tool' Jonah Hill
Posted November 9, 2012
It's the anchorman v. the funnyman.
CNN's Don Lemon is lashing out at Jonah Hill and creating one of the more (unintentionally) hilarious-cum-cringey celebrity feuds of late.
Seems the TV journalist, 46, recently felt dissed by the Superbad star, and last night took to — where else? — Twitter to tell his almost 160,000 followers:
"Said hi to @jonahhill in hotel. Think he thought i was bellman. Didn't know his name til bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind."
He went further in responding to one fan tweet: "He was a tool."
Hill, 28, picked up the thread: "I said hi. What do you want me to do, move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn't realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace."
Awkward: Lemon is openly gay. So he shot back: "Hardly. You're not my type. But I know rude. And you were."
An hour later, Hill continued the jousting: "I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me. Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude."
Lemon seems to have had the last word (Hill has deleted his tweets): "The bellman and I laughed at how self-important you were. Just being honest. Be nice. Stardom is fleeting."
